Flash Animation(Ages 10-16)
Flash is for those campers who need a creative release. Starting at learning how to draw with the computer and moving all the way up to making interactive movies. Take advantage of the best support. We’ve got professional animators from New York and Los Angeles there to assist you on creating your movie. At the end of the week, time allowing, making a website utilizing Flash is also a great project!
Code (Ages 10-16)
The Code curriculum is for campers that want to learn the foundations of software development. Instruction in Visual Basic, C++, C#, and Java programming. The best way to learn programming languages is a logical, linear progression. Which is why we teach Visual Basic, C++, C#, and finally Java for our most experienced campers.
Web (Ages 10-16)
The Web curriculum is for campers that want to make their own web pages, sites and learn the foundations of web development. The Web course gets under the hood of the Internet. Campers create their own web pages(s) and Internet applications. The primary focus is HTML, the DNA of the Internet, and software such as Dreamweaver&tm;. Each camper will leave camp with their very own web page. And most importantly the knowledge to continue creating.
Machinima
Due to overwhelming demand, we’re bring back Machinima! If you’ve never heard of it, Machinima is the art of making movies with your favorite video games. The class you’ll be taking allows you to learn not only Machinima, but the process of movie making as well. You’ll be brainstorming, writing, storyboarding, and even filming your very own creations. This is a two week class and is very fast paced, so come ready to work. A working knowledge of 3D gaming environments is preferred, but not necessary. Game Design
We’re now introducing game design to our curriculum. Have you ever imagined about building and playing your very own game? Well that dream can become a reality! Using tools like Scratch, Stencyl, and even Unity, you’ll have a chance to learn about making games from simple board games to complex side scrolling shooters. The possibilities are endless! This is a two-week course, don’t miss out!
