101 (Ages 8-10)
SummerTech is excited to bring back a course for our younger campers called 101. This course for young computer enthusiasts covers a wide range of topics including operating systems (both Windows and Mac), writing and organization tools, Web creation, Hardware and more. We will get you up to speed and show you how to master so many tools inside your computer. This course will also get you prepared to tackle some of the other exciting courses we have to offer.

ANIMATION (Ages 8-16)
Animation has always been a big part of SummerTech. But this year we are focusing on the art of animated moviemaking. Learn with professional animators from NY and LA and get their support while you create your masterpiece. This 2-week minimum course can be extended up to six weeks. Your movie will be screened at the 2008 SummerTech Arts and Sciences festival and will be submitted to animation festivals around the world.

3D ANIMATION (Ages 12-16)
Everyone is familiar with 3D animation. It's all over our TVs and movie screens. Now SummerTech is ready to show you how it's done and how you can create your own 3D models and animate them. Join us for a week or more as you work towards your future employment at Pixar. Our experts will work closely with you as you master 3D animation.

MACHINIMA (Ages 12-16)
What is Machinima? This immersive 3-week course is your gateway into the world of animated moviemaking featuring the newest movie medium: Machinima. In this course you will work within 3D gaming engines and 3D model building software to create your very own cinematic movie.

CODE (Ages 8-16)
The Code curriculum is for campers that want to learn the foundations of software development. Instruction in Visual Basic, C++, and Java programming. The best way to learn programming languages is a logical, linear progression. Which is why we teach Visual Basic, C++ and finally Java for our most experienced campers.

WEB (Ages 8-16)
The Web curriculum is for campers that want to make their own web pages, sites and learn the foundations of web development. The Web course gets under the hood of the Internet. Campers create their own web pages(s) and Internet applications. The primary focus is HTML, the DNA of the Internet, and software such as Dreamweaver™. Each camper will leave camp with their very own web page. And most importantly the knowledge to continue creating.
