Accessing Your Work From Home
There are two ways to continue working from home:
- Option A is what you’ll do when you arrive at Coditum. It uses Eclipse and lets you commit (save) your changes. This makes it easier to work at home and Coditum.
- Option B downloads a copy of your code to your machine. If you want to commit (save) it back to Bitbucket, you’ll have to do additional steps.
Option A: Using Eclipse
- Log into your Bitbucket Account.
- Select the repository you would like to download work from.
- Copy the https link to the repository at the top of the screen. (Just the link, not “git clone.”)
- Open Eclipse.
- Select File->Import. Select Projects from Git. Select Clone URI. Paste the copied link into the URI box and hit next.
- Select next and enter your password whenever prompted.
Option B: Downloading A ZIP
- Log into your Bitbucket account.
- Select the repository you would like to download work from.
- Select the Downloads tab on the left.
- Click the Download Repository button.
