About Us
A Letter from our Founder

As the school year winds down and we reflect on our year, summer approaches and you might find yourself wondering: “What’s next?”
As a parent myself, I know how challenging it can be to make the right summer choices for your children. With so many options, deciding on the perfect one can seem overwhelming. How can we ensure our child will have fun, feel accepted, and learn something valuable? Every child deserves a place that recognizes and nurtures their potential, just as we, their parents, do every day.
This is where SummerTech comes in. Our camp isn’t just about learning coding, animation, or 3D modeling; we equally emphasize leadership and personal development. We strive for self-expressiveness. Our commitment to conversational learning has allowed us to develop a tech community and leadership program like no other. SummerTech is about people – computers are just the tools we use. Everything here starts with a conversation and our human-centric approach to creating the best tech education experience is what makes our community thrive.
But don’t just take my word for it. I encourage you to really look into the options out there. When you’re choosing a tech program for your child, it’s worth asking more than just “What will they learn?” Ask: Who will they directly learn from, people or machines? Are the teachers personally invested in this camp? What kind of environment are they walking into? Will they feel seen and supported? Is this a place where they can grow, not just as a student, but as a person?
The right community makes all the difference. Our large staff is made up of former campers who grew up here and were inspired by their teachers. They love this place and want your children to share in that experience. As I often say, my staff are the kids you want your kids hanging out with. We welcome your children to get on that same path of success and fulfillment.
If you have any questions or would just like to chat about our offerings, please give me a call at (917) 674-6291 or email me at [email protected]. I genuinely look forward to the possibility of speaking with you.
Best,
Who We Are
We started SummerTech over 20 years ago with a simple idea: a camp where kids could learn technology in a community that feels like family.
We are based in Westchester, New York, and we welcome campers ages 10 to 17 who are curious about coding, animation, 3D modeling, or simply being part of a place where it feels good to be yourself. Over the years we have seen hundreds and hundreds of campers grow, not only in skill but in confidence, friendships, and creativity.
What makes SummerTech special is not just the computers or the curriculum. It is the people. We have built a culture where kids can relax, laugh, and learn in a space that values who they are. Our staff were once campers themselves and they know what it feels like to be welcomed, encouraged, and inspired here.
SummerTech is about more than technology. It is about conversations that spark ideas, friendships that last long after camp ends, and a community that celebrates every camper’s journey. When you are here, you are not just learning. You are becoming part of something bigger.
Camp Location
SummerTech is located on the campus of SUNY Purchase. Our facilities are state of the art and are conveniently located near White Plains, minutes from the Westchester airport.
