Who We Are
SummerTech is a tech camp for kids ages 10-17 in Westchester, New York, and Weston, Massachusetts. For 19 years we’ve been providing an unrivaled summer experience for youths with a passion for programming, web development, animation, 3D modeling, film making and much more.
More than anything else, we’re proud to foster a safe space in which campers can be themselves, make new friends, and grow into leaders among people who share their interests.
Steven founded SummerTech in the summer of 2001 after ACE Computer Camps, then the largest technology camp in the country, closed its doors. Steve has owned and run SummerTech with the singular philosophy that campers should have fun, and learn something!
Matt is a recent Johns Hopkins graduate with a degree in Mathematics and Physics. Matt is responsible for developing the curriculum across all of our programs and ensuring that all of our teachers are the best in the industry.
Ben started at SummerTech in 2004 as a camper. Since then Ben has watched the camp grow and evolve from 20 campers per week to more than 100 between multiple locations. Ben is responsible for developing the software that makes SummerTech tick, and handling the IT needs that arise throughout the year.
Rene started at SummerTech in 2012 as the Health Director and has since taken charge of the company’s operating needs. When Rene’s not teaching music, he’s keeping us organized, supplied, and ready to provide a great experience.
SummerTech is located on the campuses of SUNY Purchase and Regis College. Our facilities are state of the art and are conveniently located near Boston and just outside White Plains, minutes from Westchester airport.
