The SummerTech overnight experience is an amazing addon to your week. It comes with more events and activities, more games, and a little slice of college life. Here’s what to expect when you stay overnight with us.
What to Expect
Schedule
All day campers will head home by 9:00 pm. For the next hour to hour and a half, overnight campers will remain in the lab playing games and taking part in special overnight-only events. Campers will be upstairs no later than 10:30 pm, and lights out is always at 11:00 pm.
Campers who wish to go to bed earlier can go upstairs to the dorms in the early group. The dorm floors are always supervised by multiple staff members when there are campers upstairs.
Events
Overnighters get to take part in special overnight-only events. These events start at 9:00 pm once all of the commuting campers have gone home. Past events have included gaming tournaments, podcast recordings, sketch nights, capture the flag games, and movie screenings.
Dorm Life
Overnighters arrive early on Sundays to move their things into the dorms. Campers can request to share a room with a friend, or they can be placed with another camper of a similar age. Campers are two or three to a room, and every Purchase College dorm room has its own en suite bathroom.
